With more than two decades of executive leadership experience spanning the public and private sectors and nonprofit organizations, Maya is a strategic leader with a proven track record of driving growth, leading complex operations, and delivering on high-impact objectives.
She has held senior leadership roles at organizations including the Human Rights Campaign and EMILY’s List, where she led organizational strategy, strengthened stakeholder relationships, expanded partnerships, and enhanced institutional effectiveness.
Most recently, Maya served as Deputy Chief of Protocol at the U.S. Department of State, overseeing high-profile, mission-critical programs and cross-functional initiatives that supported U.S. diplomatic engagement and international partnerships. In this role, she managed complex operations, collaborated with senior government officials and global stakeholders, and ensured the successful execution of initiatives with significant strategic and operational impact.
